Yellow Garage – June Festival of Antiques
The 11thannual June Festival of Antiques at the Fairgrounds in Mullica Hill, New Jersey will be held on June 10, 2017.  Over 75 quality antique dealers from throughout the Northeast will once again be on hand for this festival. The show takes place under pavilion cover and on the lawn at the Gloucester County 4 H Fairgrounds – 275 Bridgeton Pike (Rt. 77), one mile south of the Mullica Hill Historic District. The sale will include antique country and formal furniture,pottery, fine art, glass, stoneware, quilts, dolls, Americana, jewelry, and much more!  There is unlimited free parking on the fairgrounds and food/refreshments will be available all day.  In addition there will be a 4-Hhorse competition adjacent to the antique show. Visitors can also shop and enjoy The Yellow Garage Antiques Center nearby where lectures and demonstrations will be presented throughout the day by nationally recognized furniture maker/restorer and horological conservator, Gregg Perry.   More antiques and specialty shops are available as well for your shopping pleasure, downtown on Main Street in Mullica Hill.  The Festival will take place rain or shine.  A portion of the proceeds benefit the Harrison Township Historical Society.

Join us on Saturday May 13th from 10am-5pm along Main Street for the Mullica Hill Arts and Crafts Festival featuring local and out of state artists offering one of a kind hand crafted items from paintings, pottery, photography, sculpture, jewelry, glassware, quilts, and much more. There will be a number of artists demonstrating including glass blowers, painters, potters, and woodcarvers. There will be activities for adults and children along historic Main Street. 2017 Mullica Hill Antiques Street Fair to be held April 22, 2017

It may be cold outside but the Mullica Hill Merchants are getting ready for their 8th Annual Antiques Street Fair on April 22, 2017 from 10 am till 4 pm. This event draws a large crowd and is a perfect venue for Mullica Hill as the town is known for Quaint Antique Shops located in Historic Homes with two large Co Op Shops and several Specialty Stores. Last year the Avenue was lined with Antique, Vintage and Collectible Vendors from the Tri State Area including many Mullica Hill Merchants displaying their wares for sale. Among the treasures you may expect to find are glassware, porcelain & pottery, art work, silver, vintage collectibles, dolls, furniture and many other wonderful finds. Kettle Corn, Hot dogs and other Goodies were on hand to satisfy your taste buds and of course there are several restaurants for more leisure dining. Michele L. Vallone, 2016 Gloucester County Women’s Achievement Award Recipient

The Gloucester County Board of Chosen Freeholders announced that the Commission for Women has selected 12 outstanding woman from Gloucester County to be honored this year at the 2016 Women of Achievement Event. Michele Vallone, MHMA Treasurer, is one of the nominees. READ MORE.

Michele Vallone — Michele is the VP/business relationship manager for Newfield National Bank. She is involved with many organizations throughout the county including the Mullica Hill Merchants Association, the Historical Society of Harrison Township, Economic Development Council, Women’s Leadership Council and the Woman’s Power Networking group. She is also a member of the Rotary Club of Mullica Hill. She has organized the collection of business attire donations for the United Way organization, volunteered as a mentor to teens through the United Way for Alice Paul Foundation and was a judge for the Lead-A-Way United Way program for 7th grade girls at the Intermediate school of Glassboro. Her advice to young women starting their career is to always do the best job as possible, arrive early and stay late and you can achieve anything if you work hard for it.
